wg3team10 is a joint working group of IEC TC 3 and ISO TC184/SC4 for electrical and electronic applications of ISO 10303. It's scope is to develop resource models and application protocols using STEP methodologies taking into account documented efforts such as EDIF, IGES, SET and VNS.

Actually the group maintains and further develops the standards ISO 10303-210 'Electronic assembly interconnect and packing design' ISO 10303-212 'Electrotechnical design and installation'

and the preliminary new work item

ISO 10303-220 'Process planning, manufacture, and assembly of layered electronic products'

WG3 is responsible for developing the parts of ISO 10303 that are members of the integrated resources and application protocol (AP) series. To carry out its work, WG3 is divided into teams each of which has one or more projects.

WG3 teams are responsible for:

• developing all product models within their scopes;
• developing APs required to implement the product models;
• working with owners of APs and models as these are carried through qualification, integration, editing, balloting, and approval as International Standards;
• identifying new work items in response to ndustry needs;and
• executing  Quality Assurance objectives as required by the Quality Committee.

Project teams must closely interface with external AP development activities to ensure that the:

product models support the AP requirements; APs are not redundant with existing internal or other external APs; and APs make correct use of the underlying product model data

Working Group 12 is responsible for providing for the extension of existing common resources and ensuring dynamic consistency between resource types;

When authorized by SC4, WG 12 will create or enhance specific resources based on the
(a) requirements for all SC4 Standards
(b) Integration requirements
(c) Requirements established by WG10
(d) Requirements established by the Quality Committee

WG12 also proposes new work items for common resources and establishes liaison with other standards activities working on information models useful as common resources for SC4.

In consultation with other standards organisations, WG12 assures uniform, interoperable methods of physical exchange of information described by EXPRESS schemas.

TC 172 Optics and optical instruments /SC1 Fundamental Standards

TC 172 Scope of Work: Standardization of terminology, requirements, interfaces and test methods in the field of optics.

Scope of Work includes:

Standardization in the field of industrial automation and integration concerning discrete part manufacturing and encompassing the application of multiple technologies, i.e. information systems, machines and equipment, and telecommunications.

Excluded:

1. electrical and electronic equipment as dealt with by IEC / TC 44;
2. programmable logical controllers for general application dealt with by IEC / TC 65.

ISO TC 211 Geographic Information/Geomatics

TC 211 SCOPE: Standardization in the field of digital geographic information. Note: This work aims to establish a structured set of standards for information concerning objects or phenomena that are directly or indirectly associated with a location relative to the Earth.

This exploder list shall be used for the discussion of issues and other topics related to the development of ISO 13584-511.

This part of ISO 13584 specifies a reference dictionary for all the parts described in the various ISO mechanical fastener standards, together with their descriptive properties and domains of values.

This part of ISO 13584 specifies a reference dictionary that contains:

• definitions and identifications of the classes of fasteners as they are described in the various ISO mechanical fastener standards, with associated classification scheme;
• definitions and identifications of data element types that represents properties of fasteners
• definitions and identifications of domains of values that prove useful for describing the above data element types.

Each class, property or domain of values of this application domain constitutes an entry of the reference dictionary defined in this part of ISO 13584. It is associated with a computer-sensible and human-readable definition, and with a computer sensible identification. Identification of a dictionary entry allows to refere it unambiguously from any application.

Definitions and identifications of dictionary entries are defined by means of standard data that consist of instances of the EXPRESS entity data types defined in the common dictionary schema, resulting from a joint effort between ISO TC184/SC4/WG2 and IEC SC3D, and in its extensions defined in ISO 13584-24 and ISO 13584-25.
